How to rinse the intestines at home?

To cleanse the body of toxins, it is not enough to simply choose the method you like and follow the basic recommendations. Improper cleansing can harm the intestines.

To rid the body of toxins and waste, two main groups of medications are used:

  1. Sorbents that absorb toxic substances. They absorb only poisons in an accessible form, but do not dissolve fecal stones (Polysorb, Enterosgel, Polyphepan, activated carbon).
  2. Laxatives are drugs that replace enemas that enhance motility and stimulate mechanical cleansing. They remove massive formations, which often causes discomfort when moving them through the intestines (senna extract, Epsom salts, magnesia powder , etc.) They cannot be used for more than a few days: they can relax the intestines too much, reduce motility, which will cause problems with independent emptying.

The simplest and most inexpensive method is using activated carbon. They drink several tablets (from 3 to 5, the greater the person’s weight, the greater the dosage) throughout the week. It allows you to remove major toxins.

Polyphepan removes cholesterol and heavy metal salts. But you need to take it for a course of 7 to 10 days, while following an exclusively vegetarian diet all days.

Laxatives are taken once a day for no more than a week. It is important to consider the expiration date so that you are near the toilet when you have a bowel movement.

Laxative "Fortrans"

The most effective are drugs made on the basis of the substance macrogol-4000. To prepare for research or to get rid of toxins and waste as effectively as possible, the drug Fortrans is often used to cleanse the intestines. The active substance is able to retain water and increase osmotic pressure in the intestines. It is not absorbed into the gastrointestinal tract. This is what causes the laxative effect.

  • Juices. They contain fruit acids that can dissolve and remove fecal stones completely. This effect is exerted only by freshly squeezed ones, in an amount of no more than 100 ml, on an empty stomach. This method cannot be used by people with chronic gastritis and colitis: fruit acids irritate the stomach, stimulating the production of gastric juice.
  • Apples. They contain a sufficient amount of fiber and pectin. If eaten with the peel, they give a “broom effect”, thoroughly cleaning out all the deposits of the small and large intestines. The cleansing process will take only one day, during which you need to eat about 2 kg of apples. You cannot eat any other foods; you can drink clean water and herbal tea - 2-3 liters per day.
  • Vegetable salad of celery, cabbage and carrots, seasoned with a spoon of vegetable oil (preferably olive or flaxseed). Eat it on an empty stomach every morning for 10-14 days. If there is no increased acidity of gastric juice, you can replace the salad with sauerkraut.
  • Another method can be used not only at home, but also throughout the working day, using a fruit mixture of raisins, dried apricots and figs instead of snacks. This method can be further enhanced by adding hay leaves pre-soaked in water. Take a tablespoon of the mixture once a day in the late afternoon so that the intestines have time to cleanse themselves before the morning. But keep in mind that the mixture has a strong laxative effect. This is a complete and safer replacement for pharmaceutical laxatives.

Types of laxatives

The drugs vary depending on their mechanism of action. They can be divided into several groups.

1. Surfactants, or chemical laxatives. They act only on the large intestine, irritating its receptors and stimulating peristalsis. These medications may cause a single bowel movement 8 hours after ingestion. This group includes preparations of buckthorn, rhubarb, senna, and castor oil.

2. Osmotic preparations for intestinal cleansing, fillers. They work in the small and large intestines.

3. Detergents, or laxative oils. They act in the small and large intestines, soften feces and facilitate their sliding along the mucous membrane. Defecation begins 4 hours after ingestion of drugs of this group. These include paraffin, petroleum jelly, almond and fennel oils.

How to cleanse the intestines with folk remedies at home?

Traditional recipes will help rid the large intestine of stones and toxins.

One of them is based on the use of saline solution. Salt water is not absorbed in the intestines; on the contrary, it draws water out of the body. This allows you to dilute the contents of the intestines, dissolve fecal stones, and effectively wash all parts of the intestines.

A tablespoon of ordinary table salt is dissolved in a liter of warm boiled water. You should drink two glasses on an empty stomach. Another 2-3 liters - during the day. Soon after the first dose, the intestines will empty. You need to take the saline solution until clear water begins to come out. But if you have kidney disease, it is better not to use this method.

A longer method is to use bran. 2 tablespoons are steamed with hot water, consumed in the morning on an empty stomach half an hour to an hour before meals. The duration of such cleansing is at least 30 days.

At home, such intestinal cleansing can be done no more than once a year. It is better to give up meat for this month, but you can eat dairy products. You can combine cleansing with a period of fasting. During a bran cleanse, you need to drink as much water as possible, since the bran absorbs a large amount of liquid.

Colon cleansing at home with honey helps flush out the intestines and restore the balance of nutrients, vitamins and organic components. You need to prepare a honey solution by dissolving a tablespoon of honey in a glass of warm water. Drink honey water three times a day, half an hour before meals. The cleansing course should last 2 months. You can use this method if you are sure that you are not allergic to bee products.

Flax seeds are an excellent way to cleanse the intestines without an enema and restore the balance of microelements and other important components. In addition to cleansing the digestive organs, flax relieves inflammation and helps normalize the composition of intestinal microflora. The duration of the process is about two weeks.

The mixture for administration is prepared in advance: 100 flaxseeds are ground in a blender or coffee grinder, poured with a glass of unrefined vegetable oil. It is better to take olive oil: compared to sunflower oil, it contains more fatty acids and vitamin E, and has a less pronounced laxative effect.

The mixture of flax and oil should be left for 7 days in a glass jar, shaking and stirring the contents daily. A tasty and pleasant way to cleanse the intestines of blockages at home is prune jelly. For 2 liters of water take half a kilo of prunes, 50 grams of buckthorn bark (laxative) and 140 ml of Kholosasa syrup (choleretic). In medicine, this method of intestinal cleansing is usually used in cases where taking laxatives is impossible or does not give the desired result. The procedure may be prescribed to people taking drugs such as morphine or oxycodone, as they impair intestinal motility, causing patients to suffer from constipation.

Possible risks and disadvantages of cleaning

Despite the fact that many perceive colon cleansing as a panacea for many health problems, most gastroenterologists are in no hurry to advise patients on this procedure.

Caution: Colon cleansing with castor oil is prohibited for pregnant women. Ricinoleic acid contained in the product may cause miscarriage.

Garcinia cambogia
